Our fleetlist is a detailed look at every bus operated by Western Scottish Omnibuses Ltd, from the creation of the company in June 1985, until it’s sale to the Stagecoach Group in July 1994.

Please note that some ex-Western SMT vehicles have been included in the fleetlist database if they operated with Western after June 1985 or were remerged with Western, from Clydeside in January 1989. All vehicles are also listed by the fleetnumber they were originally allocated when purchased by Western SMT or Western Scottish.

Searching for vehicles

You can use the search facility to find specific vehicles by:

Chassis code, Fleet Number, Registration Number, Chassis, Chassis Number, Bodywork, Bodywork Number, Seating Capacity and Year Built

NB. Vehicle re-numbering, depot allocations, inter company transfers, livery changes and mechanical modifications data is currently being compiled for each individual vehicle (between June 1985 and the 1994 Stagecoach purchase of Western).
