Taken in 1988 this image depicts a fairly standard allocation of vehicles that would have been operating from Western’s Ayr, Cumnock and Kilmarnock depots into, and out of, Western’s Sandgate bus station in Ayr.
The image also gives us a chance to compare all three variations of the Western Scottish bus livery that were applied throughout it’s history.
